Celeste specialises in community engagement (co-design) and leads workshops. She will collaborate with you to gather insights at the start of a project and translate these into actionable plans and strategy. She oversees graphic design and web projects alongside Rach, and teaches our co-design courses with Laura.

Celeste's journey
Originally from Kaitaia, Celeste moved at age 9 to Tauranga, where her family still lives. She moved to Wellington to study graphic design at Massey University.
She worked at Open Lab agency before transitioning to exhibitions and events at Te Papa. While there, she worked on the new art gallery and the Bug Lab touring exhibition among other projects.
When both a close friend and her grandmother passed away, she decided to re-evaluate her life and quit her job to build a house and start StudioC.

Outside of work, she is an adrenaline junkie!
Celeste loves riding motorcycles and dirt bikes, and she races them too! In winter, she loves snowboarding.
She also enjoys bush hikes, painting, going to D&B music raves, and working out at F45 fitness classes to get strong.
Wildcard fact
Before becoming a designer, she almost became a skydive instructor!
